Penny called me this morning and she is not feeling well. So likely a meal from one of her favorite carry out spots, and then a quiet evening...we already voted, so for me the bourbon will be saved for tomorrows coverage

I'm thinking a bloody mary bar, stocked with plenty of celery, cheese, sausage, and olives

What channel will be the most fun to watch for celebrations and melt-downs?

I'll be watching the Chiefs beat down the Buccaneers on MNF. Like Bloodhound, we voted early and I've already checked out of this election cycle. What happens happens, and we'll all still be here the day after.

I think I'll try not to stay glued to the coverage - I'll find an old British murder mystery and peep in on the election coverage every now and then. Things seem to be so close; I'm pretty sure we won't know who won until some time in December.
Wishing you God's very best!

Watching a civil war movie to set the mood.

Actually, I have a big ol’ chunk of sirloin and some roasted veggies planned. I’ll wash it down with a Blanton’s if I’m feeling saucy. I don’t even have cable or a working broadcast antenna right now to watch any broadcasts.

That'd be a good one. Or The Good, Bad and Ugly.

So the movie and the dinner got pushed to tonight. Still undecided on the movie. I’m torn between your Eastwood suggestions and John Wayne’s The Searchers.

Sorry for the delay. I know y’all were anxious for an update.

The Searchers is always a fair choice, but if I was going John Wayne, it's The Quiet Man nearly every time.
