24 fatalities the last time I checked the news.
The Santa Ana winds are supposed to kick up again tonight.
Lots of prayers needed.

Prayers every day for the people there, the families and the responders. And for the weather also, that the conditions will allow for getting this under control.

And for us, the believers that watch from afar. Lot pled for Sodom, after all, and there are many good men and women in California.

I’ve got two family members in threatened areas. Praying.

I got a random text message from someone in New York asking if Kelly was ok in LA. I texted back wrong number. Then that random texter said their name was Julie and wanted to know my name.

I got tricked into conversing for a bit with a scam like that before I realized it was an AI bot.

Current AI can most certainly beat the Turing Test.

For years my email has remained almost spam free. A couple months ago it seemed every woman in the world wanted to be with me and was letting me know via email. I mean... I get it... I'm hot, but dang... so much unwanted email.

Seriously, it is so sudden and such a large volume that it seems like I'm being targeted. Might be time for a new email address, but that's such a pain to update all the services/sites.
Wishing you God's very best!

I haven't heard a peep about the fires. Are they all put out? Are people back in their homes?

Does it take a mere Inauguration to end a natural disaster affecting thousands of families?

i've been wondering what happened to that war in Ukraine for a while now, too.

Both are still raging, unfortunately; bad as ever. I think that every time the firefighters begin to get one fire under control, high winds pick up and start another. It's not a good year for insurance companies, so reads the Wall Street Journal, not to mention people's lives and families.
