Then I put the egg carton back into the refrigerator with the side missing the 2 eggs facing north in the refrigerator.
I thought I was the only one that concerned with empty egg chamber placement.

It matters.
It’s important work, not easy but important, especially with the 18 pack.

Very important.

My wife and I occasionally exchange micro aggressions over this.

I was solo at the cabin last week. Every egg in the carton was cracked because they were on the top shelf of the fridge and almost frozen. Turns out that it gets pretty damned cold in there if nobody opens the door for a week. They cooked a little funny, but tasted fine.

An area of life that I have control over. The carton must be balanced when removed from the fridge. It's the QA guy in me that has me Poka-yoke the carton.

I believe that hard boiled eggs are an essential part of a great potato salad.

After a few months of our declining terrier having accidents on the carpet, we had a carpet cleaning guy come out.
I ran out of checks, so I had to walk to the bank to get cash to pay him.
My dermatologist commanded me to wear a brimmed hat in the sun.
I was raised to habitually tip my hat when encountering a lady on the sidewalk.
Age is not kind to some ladies I've observed.
The lady I saw at a distance wore pigtails, which I thought was a brave attempt to hold on to her femininity..
Surely i thought, that should be rewarded with a tip of my hat, and when we were about to pass I made the gesture and touched my brim.
The old gal got all oogly googly and it was then I realized she wasn't a she, she was a he.

Jocose wrote: 11 Sep 2023, 16:18 This morning I heated up one of the 3 cast iron skillets over a med/low flame, more low than medium.
Then I grabbed a new 18 pack of free range eggs out of the fridge and went back to the stove.

Then I opened the carton of eggs so the ends faced East and west and the top opened towards the stove being careful to not get it too close to the flame.

Then I washed my hands for 22 seconds using liquid hand washing soap and warm water.

Then I dried my hands with a paper towel and placed the paper towel on the top part of the carton then I poured some extra virgin olive oil in the pan and let it warm then I grabbed the loaf of raisin bread and removed the 3rd and 4th pieces from the bread sack and placed them into the toaster but I didn’t start the toaster then I picked up the skillet and swirled the oil around and then I grabbed one egg from the west side of the carton and cracked it into the skillet and placed the empty egg shell on top of the used paper towel I dried my hands with and then I grabbed one egg from the East side of the carton and did the same then I grabbed one more egg from the East side and cracked it in the middle of the other 2 eggs in the skillet.

Then I pulled a bamboo spoon out of the place where the various utensils are stored and mixed all the eggs together real well.
Then I grabbed the paper towel with the eggshells resting on top and walked over to the garbage can and opened up the top by pressing my foot on the lever and dropped the refuse into the bin.

Then I put the egg carton back into the refrigerator with the side missing the 2 eggs facing north in the refrigerator.

Then I made sure the toaster was set at 5 and I pushed the button which lowered the raisin bread into the toaster.

Then I grabbed the bamboo spoon and stirred the eggs again.

Then I grabbed a plate out of the cupboard and placed it next to the skillet and then I grabbed a small fork out of the drawer and then stirred the eggs again.

Then I turned the flame off and let the residual heat finish off the scrambled eggs then the toaster popped up the raisin bread toast then I stacked the toast on the plate with the top piece facing the opposite direction of the bottom piece which were facing north.

Then I scooped the scrambled eggs onto the plate and returned the skillet to the stove top with the handle facing south.

Then I washed the bamboo spoon with liquid hand soap and warm water and put it back in the place where the various utensils are stored.

Then I grabbed the Tobasco and poured a lot on top of the eggs.

Then I grabbed a paper towel and the plate and went to the porch. I came back in after setting the plate down and grabbed my coffee in the JimVH Yeti and went outside to eat breakfast.

It was very good.

Then I put my dishes into the dishwasher and then I wiped the skillet out and then I put a high flame under it and then I added some extra virgin olive oil to it and wiped it down.

I have not proofread this post and will hit submit now.
^This^ but opposite sides of stove and egg carton. Also made 2 servings of oatmeal but it would take way too long to describe the process here.
