A classic switchblade seems Italian to me.

Not at all surprising, coco, but I don't need to stab anyone.

There are 34 different acknowledged styles. Very regional, very defined by the particular task the local farmers were performing.

I like the maremmano and the bergamasco the best. Chonky.

I gave myself a Shun Japanese kiritsuke chef knife as a Christmas gift last year.

There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Sometimes I’m just really, really glad for the simple pleasure of pipe smoking. It’s been a great week with some delightful bowls.
