I've been learning my whiskeys.... and bourbon subsets. Have acquired makings of old fashioned. Am considering those drunk bing cherries to add a twist (also recognizing that too much sugar with a cocktail -- or in a cocktail-- can have noticeable impact).

My rotator cuff surgery turned into a re-attach a torn bicep tendon surgery.
Recovery will be an adventure.

Sorry to hear this...I ruptured my left bicep when I was still working the street. Praying for your quick and uneventful recovery

I finished writing two book reviews and part of a third this afternoon.
I am quite frankly astounded by my productivity.

Ashville, NC was hit especially hard. All the roads into the city, including the interstates, are closed due to washed out bridges and pavement. It's an airlift rescue now.

Years ago, I met two beloved members from Old CPS in Ashville -- Irish Dane and Old Soul. I hope they are okay.

I D got married and moved back to Ohio. Aside from that, he's OK.
