Mrs FredS has signed up to a website for dirt cheap leftover show tickets. A few weeks ago she got 2 front & center (literally first row) tix to Hamilton for $10 total. She took her friend who turned her on to the website to that one. Tonight it's Funny Girl, the musical for $35 total. We'll spend more in fuel and parking that getting into the show.

Being empty nest oldsters has it's benefits.

We're old and traffic was less than I expected so we got to the theater an hour early. Usher guy wouldn't let us in but told us to step out on the balcony to watch the drone show at 7. Not like the drones over NJ, but hundreds of 'em in sync over Denver - one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The show was OK. 25 songs long! Mrs FredS said most people probably don't count them.

Good news: I took apart a broken electronic device today, and when I put it back together it worked.

Bad news: It's the bathroom scale. Now there's no excuse to avoid it.

I just now got in line at the bank, in the lobby. I'm number 10 in the queue.

What is now being called an F2 tornado, passed by here this afternoon, just to the south, luckily. The same system then headed on to Louisiana and then Mississippi, I presume close to JMGs place. Our power just came back on about 30 mins ago, and all seems well, so I'm posting here, while eating a bowl of rice chex. It's been a long afternoon. It's been a long day. Now, to play Wordle before hitting the sack.

I was in Porter and something rattled the house, but no damage. I did see reports of damage just to our north. Beast of a storm.

We drove through this system yesterday on the way back to TX. Lots of slow driving with the emergency flashers on.

Yesterday I transplanted 21 geraniums. The bullet-proof kind. They are children of the geranium that's a foundation plant that grew where lawn should be. I didn't want to mow them down with the weeds, so....
