MERRY CHRISTMAS
Greetings from Athens-Greece, we have sun and 64 'F (unfortunately no snow).
As you can see the quality of the photos is low, i don't know what's happening. I transfer them from my smartphone to my pc, stored in USB stick in a HUB in separate files. I check them after 1-2 days and ALL of them are OK, i make a second check after few days and suddenly some photos have been deformed!
I run and Antivirus-Antimalware check and nothing found. The USB stick is permanently attached to the HUB for years, has enough space and suddenly the latest months some photos (which were in perfect condition) get damaged.
Take a look:
Why this happening? Can someone help me?

Happy New Year! Glad to see you are well.
Has Athens recovered well from the horrible storm?
I am reading Thucydides
History of the Peloponnesian War.
Book is 600 pages. I am only at page 100. Thucydides is taking time to explain the conflicts and history between Persian War and Peloponnesian War. Spartans have decided to enter a war against Athens, but they have not strapped on shields yet.

Peloponnesian War.
This Civil War it was deliberately provoked by the Democratic Pericles, a corrupt, slanderous, liar who demanded money from other cities (States) for Alliances. If they didn't give him what he asked for, he made war on them (killed, burned, demolished) and then he said to the Athenians "vote for me to enjoy benefits, if you don't vote for me the Oligarchic Spartans will come and you will lose all of them" which of course were ''BS".
He turned the public's attention to this war to cover his shame (he publicly cheated on his wife) and embezzled public money. The fool started a civil war and from there the total destruction of ancient Greece began, after that it could not recover.
