I think she is intentionally avoiding tough questions about her previous policies as CA Attorney General and in the Senate. And she is avoiding questions about the policies of the Biden regime. She doesn't want to talk about current concerns: inflation and recession fears, border security; Iran, Israel, or Ukraine; China and Taiwan, school groomers and LGBT kids, the rise of violent crimes.

Tulsi Gabbard clocked Kamala in the 2020 Democrat Primary debates by forcing her to face her record as CA Attorney General. Kamala was unable to dodge it. Kamala has not forgotten.

Biden beat Trump by running a basement campaign. Kamala hopes that can work again.

I wouldn't want to hire an employee without a job interview, based solely on a resume. I don't want to vote for a president without hearing how that candidate responds to difficult questions without a script.

People voted for Biden based largely on his ability to read a teleprompter. It was a mistake that was almost made twice. Perhaps the American public will be asked to do so again. I would rather have the candidates go to several debates with difficult questions. No notes or teleprompters or calls to a friend allowed.

Kamala is stealing Trump's campaign promise of "NO TAX ON TIPS."

It's not nice to criticize Kamala:

If she'll do that to a Lt. Colonel, why wouldn't she do that to a journo?

We NEVER watch FOX News, but last night for some reason Mrs. Del was surfing channels and we settled on Brian Kilmeade's show a few segments before Tulsi came on with her story. I got to see this live.

So this is either a very bizarre coincidence and mix-up, or Tulsi Gabbard is lying.... or Tulsi discovered she was on this TSA enhanced security list on July 23, right after Kamala secured the nomination on July 22.

The Elon Musk/Trump conversation is currently running in a continuous loop on YouTube. You can't start at the beginning.

This stream is hosted by CNN, if you are wondering why this picture of Trump was chosen.

Theirry Breton is some sort of high official in the E.U. government. He sent a threatening letter to Elon Musk and X ahead of the Trump interview, warning that X must take measures (and inform E.U.) regarding the spread of disinformation and hate speech that might occur during Trump's interview, especially mindful of anti-immigrant riots in England (not a member of E.U., btw) last week. Letter includes threats of action that E.U. will take to punish X and Elon Musk personally if he fails to comply.

Elon does not like being threatened. His response:

And folks think Russia meddles in U.S. elections!? This nutjob puts it out there in some sort of official letter that the EU intends to harass and intimidate US citizens to follow 'laws' that have no governance over said citizens, The pushback against the Frenchman was swift, but still, the fact he felt at ease and empowered to issue such demands speaks volumes. Is there anyone in the world who supposes Harris will tell this guy to get lost? Is there anyone in the world who supposes Trump won't? What Breton has done is illegal and I'd love to see U.S. sanctions against the companies he owns. Perhaps even a subpoena to appear before Congress to answer for his meddling conduct?

We so often issue partisan subpoenas and appoint special counsels to investigate wrongful deeds that they really no longer hold water, but this sort of thing is rotten indeed and should spark genuine outrage. That b!+ch needs slapped down.

Trump told Elon that he wants to shut down the US Dept. of Education.... there's no need for it. States and local school boards can run their schools just fine without any need for national oversight. Trump is embarrassed that US schools are ranked very low overall, compared with 40 other developed nations.

I don't know if Trump has been saying this at rallies. Probably so, but I haven't seen it reported.

This is something that I have been wanting to see done for many years.

The Department of Education, as I see it, is a way for the Feds to get their hooks into State and Local school districts---you want $$, we got $$, just play by our rules.
It's also incentivizes local Bond measures by providing matching $$. The problem is the interest on the 30 year bond at today's high rates is 100% by the end of the term. When taxpayers are hit with multiple bond measures from past years it becomes a real burden to satisfy greedy school districts. Even a .05 % sales tax or 2% property tax increase to pay off a single bond adds up when put with multiple bond measures passed in the passed decades.
Reasons for school bonds always include "differed maintenance" such as roofing, or electricity to support high tech infrastructure or financing completion of new construction projects that have been already started----all expenses that should have already been factored into existing budgets but mysteriously weren't.
