Driving to DC later on today, spending the night, and putting daughters number 2 and 3 on a plane in the morning bound for Japan. A quiet prayer that we travel safely and they get there without being placed on the no-fly list for rumbling over Kamchatka would be much appreciated.

I packed a waterproof shirt for ease of cleaning up the Mama tears. A prayer or two for her peace and ability to trust in God's plan, too, if you'd be so inclined.

Thanks. It's all minor stuff, but it's weighing on me.

Our lives are made almost entirely of the minor stuff. Doesn't mean it's not important.

Praying for the kids. And the Mom. And the Dad. And the Grandparents.

Thank you for your prayers. They genuinely mean a lot to me and Fred made me tear up a little. We fly out tomorrow afternoon and I'll be able to relax when I have them in my sight again.

Again, thank you all.

I missed this thread first time around. But late prayers are no less effective than early ones.

Blessed Mother, we thank you for watching over these loved ones as they enjoy their grand adventures.
