Election Thread II: Kamala vs. Trump

Post by Del »

This one's gonna be a dumpster fire.

Let's start in the gutter and climb up from there:

When Stormy Daniels was about 30, she slept with a billionaire twice her age. He paid her $150,000 to hush it.
When Kamala was about 30, she slept with a powerful California politician twice her age. He gave her some no-show patronage jobs paying over $100,000/year during their 3- or 4-year long affair, and set her up for an astonishing start to her political career.

In their defense, they were all Democrats at the time.
===============================================

I don't think there is anything nice that can be honestly said about Kamala Harris -- unless killing children by abortion is your thing. Then she's wonderful.

Trash about Kamala is bubbling out of every sewer.

I tripped over this in Washington Times (a reliable source of right-wing news):

Catholics warn of Kamala Harris’ record of ‘anti-Catholic bigotry’

Mostly, this is a rehash of that time she opposed the Senate approval of a federal judge nominee -- because he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Ouch, Hov!

But you are from California, and you've dealt with Kamala for a long time. And you have most likely been KofC for decades. So I guess you are entitled.

I liked the first Election thread. For a politics thread, it was really quite civil, informative, and edifying.

With Kamala in race, I predict a hot mess. We can still try, of course.
======================================

Kamala's history is so icky.

Willie Brown, San Francisco DA, California AG, briefly US Senator, fiasco attempt at Democrat presidential primary, DEI choice for Veep, fiasco Dem nomination for President.

I sum up her career thus: Ambitious at running and failing up.

My apology for being so blunt, but sadly, it is what it is.

Kamala seems unable to prepare for anything, much less debates.
I predict that Trump will mop the floor with her in a debate.

From MSNBC....

Symone Sanders, a former adviser and close assistant of VP Kamala, makes the media-campaign case for Kamala. Here's what an ardent cheerleader has to say:

Kamala Harris has 100 days to make history. Here’s why I think she can do it.

Yes, I would say the one nice thing I can say about Kamala Harris is that she has mastered the art of failing forward. Gavin Newsom isn't far behind her.

She certainly has found a way to avoid primary voters. And a lifeboat off of that sinking ship which was the Biden Campaign. And she's still sailing after those great fails.

Speaking of Gavin.... He has to miss this boat. President and Vice President cannot be from the same state.

JD Vance gave Kamala a taste of what she's in for:

I understand an incumbent getting the Party's nomination by the simple fact that he/she is the incumbent,
but Kamala isn't the incumbent. Joe is.
Unless Joe steps down while in office, then Kamala would be the incumbent.
But it didn't happen that way.

Kamala is either an idiot or a liar. Probably both, I suppose. She's been on the inside, telling us how sharp ol' Joe is as the world has seen his very clear decline. Even after the debate laid it bare she was telling us that, no, really, he's fine. It's seriously dangerous for our country to have the VP lie and cover up the health of the man in charge. I get it, the main job of the VP is to make the P look good, but this was way over the line and put(s) our country at peril. People see what's gone on and there's no way anyone who cares about America will support her. Don't get it twisted though, there are those who don't care about America so she'll have some support, but not a lot.
