I have a large pot of Holiday Jambalaya to make. This recipe is elaborate.... I blacken the chicken thighs with a special rub mix and toss the shrimps in a different spice mix. Fold it all together with andouille. Every bite has a different flavor. Homemade stock from the bones and wingtips of last summer's smoked chickens. So yum!

Hope everyone had a great day. I ate way too much. Today will be some shopping, and store fall things, and get out the Christmas things. Also need to get a bottle of rye today, and a special whisky for fruit cakes.
