I'm loading up my dad's briar with Father Dempsey for a celebratory memorial Father's Day smoke :D
Anyone else here got somethin' similar going on?

This evening, when todays activities are done, I'll get out the plainest, post WWII-looking pipe I can find, perhaps the Grabow POY from a few years ago, and smoke a bowl of some sort of cherry blend. I've been thinking about my dad all weekend.

Dad was an SWR guy, so I’ll dig the aging (not in a good way) pouch out of a drawer when we get back from visiting him. No idea what pipe, but S&S’s pipe rationale inspired me.

We were traveling over Dad's Day. So no pipe was enjoyed. I got back to the house last night. So I smoked the Dad's Day pipe then. A large Comoy Billiard, the 4th pipe I ever bought. Stuffed with some C&D Bow Legged Bear and 2 fingers of Maker's Mark
