My son is back from mountain climbing in Patagonia.
When the gauchos rode into town to pick up their climbing gear to pack in to base camp he said the swarthiest, most dashing looking gaucho came in riding his horse, leading a string of mules with one hand and stuffing his pipe in the other hand.

That's cool. Did your son happen to ask the gaucho what tobacco he was smoking?

Think so? I don't picture that. Also I'm surprised it was a pipe rather than a cigar.

FWIW there were two gauchos, the other was rolling a cigarette with one hand.
But the gaucho loading a pipe with one hand while riding a horse really impressed the lad.

That was just a goof-ball riff regarding Patagonian gauchos and Andean condors. I have no idea what a gaucho likes.

Captain English Latakia Navy Flake looks interesting. And only $9000.
