I haven't done any fishing that hasn't involved church kids since leaving Florida 20 years ago.

Dude, you need to get out there on your own.

As a father of 3 and grandfather of 8, I can tell you that fishing with kids isn't really fishing. Oh it can be fun - see the pics I posted on page 3 of this thread - but it's a lot nicer when the rug rats aren't nipping at your heels. And, this probably goes without saying but, leave yer wife at home.

I'm externally motivated. If you invited me to go fishing, I'd be there. But on my own? Meh.
