Hoo boy
Arwen had her shunt removed in order revise it, but is currently on an external shunt device while being treated with antibiotics.
Due to the potential of infection they believe exists but might be masked by previous antibiotics she was on, we just found out this morning that they’re going to keep her on antibiotics for 10 days until they put the new shunt back in.
It’s a pretty big blow. She’s number one so we do for her what needs done, but I’m in St Louis and the family is in KC.
With momma nursing a newborn there’s no other option. I’m the guy with her, and we haven’t yet figured out how to do this for 10 days. I haven’t spoken with my employers yet either.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I know some of you get them via Facebook. I tried to make an update a few days ago but I think this site and my phone’s browser are quarrelsome.
