I’m in an ambulance
So slight complication.
We were supposed to leave the hospital today (still might, depending) but discovered yesterday a pocket of air in her chest that caused a portion of her lung to collapse. Consensus is that it’s just air from surgery and that it will dissipate and the lung will go back to normal but just to be sure they check the size of the air pocket via X-ray. Last night and this morning the pocket remained the same size so today they have her on oxygen to see if they can speed up dissipation.
Another X-ray later today to see if it gets smaller.
Also, today marks 2 weeks since we’ve been in the hospital.

Update! The air pocket got smaller and her lung is popping back to normal. It only is she doing good but we’re finally out of the hospital!
We’re going to stay one more night out here (at my cousins house) just in case and head home in the morning. Thank you for your prayers!
