I just put a cheesecake in the oven. A surprise gift for Cigarson's father-in-law, Mike. (He's a real good egg.)
I made a Dulce de Leche Cheesecake for a gathering in November. Mike wasn't able to join us, so I sent a few pieces home for him. When we met at an event later in early December, Mike went out of his way to rave about how awesome it was. Made me feel pretty good!
Now I must assemble the Christmas Eve Lasagna for Cigarson and his wife. They are coming over for Christmas Eve lunch.... then Mass together, after which they will go to her family for overnight and Christmas Day party. With an extra surprise cheesecake.
