It's been a very long time since I purchased any tobacco, but I impulsively purchased a couple tins of these last week. I think it was the Basma and Izmir that finally got me.
Here's the one review on TR, and it's a good one, from Jiminks, as usual.

How would you describe it? I've been smoking some C&D's recently.Hugo Drax wrote: 12 Aug 2023, 19:48 I've only been smoking Virginia Gentleman from Cornell and Diehl. Shocked that I found one I liked, let alone couldn't live without.

Didn't necessarily "need" any tobacco but my b&m got in a few tins of G&H Jamaican Flake (aka Rum Flake) and a few other G&H tins. I thought it was pretty cool that they got anything G&H. I purchased one of the Jamaican Flake tins.
Wishing you God's very best!

Just scored a 16 y/o tin of GLP Stratford from Pipe Stud. It was advertised as 20 y/o and was marked with marker as 20 y/o on the bottom of the tin, but C&D's stamp on the bottom of the tin puts it at 16 y/o. Pipe Stud seems a pretty upstanding gent, so I'm not sure why he went with the seller's made up date rather than the C&D stamp, but I'm not complaining - the price seemed good for what it is.
I'm anxious to try it out as I'm pretty familiar with "new" Stratford and it's been hot and sharp on the tongue. Curious to see what the age does to it.
