I'm kinda freaked out by the whole leftist press whining "Joe has to Go," in lockstep, like they were waiting for him to bomb the debate.
For the last several months, they were all "Joe's fine! He's our man!" -- again, in lockstep. They knew damn well that we could see with our own eyes that Joe's dementia is progressing, as dementia does.
Who is orchestrating this? Who is directing the media message? How?

And the chuckleheads saying "you can't base his performance on one 90 minute debate." Uh yeah we can. That's the whole f-ing point of the debates - to tell us what you're going to do and how you're going to do it! Show us why you'll better than the other candidate(s). Everyone knows what each guy did in his first term and whether they were better off before or after those first terms. What we want to know now, at the end of the night, is what you're going to do next. Tell us why we should vote for you. Or not.

It's likely all planned out months in advance including Joe bombing the debate. They intentionally set it up and didn't juice him up so he would look mentally incompetent in order to set the stage for his replacement. It's no coincidence any time the state propaganda media's message is in lock-step. It's because all they do is deliver the message whether it's true or not with the sole intent to manipulate public opinion. It's been that way for longer than we probably realize. The question is really who they have chosen to replace him. And make no mistake, they already have a person picked. They will likely put on a primary show to give people the illusion they have a choice. That has become abundantly clear with the Democrat party. Otherwise Bernie would have been the candidate already. Heck, it might even be his turn finally. He would probably beat Trump with a little help from the usual election fraud.

Biden is making two election rallies in Wisconsin today.
He'll drop into Madison and do a rally at the airport this afternoon.
Also today, he is meeting with George Stephanopoulos (former Clinton hack/fixer, current anchor at ABC News) for an interview. It was rumored that he might only get 15 minutes with Biden, but Biden campaign assures him that he'll get more time. Perhaps 30 minutes.
ABC will air the interview tonight. It will be interesting to see how Snuffy handles this opportunity.
Biden campaign's primary goal is to show that Biden has the energy/mental capacity to do two rallies and an interview, and hold it all together. They want to flood the media with clips of "Vibrant Joe on the Campaign Trail!" Not so much for voters today.... this is more to convince Big Donors and elected Democrats not to jump ship, because they are jumping like carp.
Some are saying that today is the make-or-break, go/no go decision for the Biden campaign. "Some," including Donald Trump.
Keep your eyes peeled this week. Will things coalesce for Joe? Or fall apart?

Biden drew about 300 people today in Madison today. That's just sad.
They moved indoors because of threat of rain. Maybe it was security that reduced the crowd size, but I doubt it.

Video of the whole rally is included. First 90 minutes is just people waiting.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers rally-speaks at 1:33. I say he is made of Bidenstuff. You can judge for yourself, if you care.
Biden walks on at 1:50. Speaks for 15 minutes.
Biden walks off to greet half the crowd behind him at 2:07. (We sure eat a lot of brats in Wisconsin.
To be honest, Biden doesn't look half-bad at this showing.
He takes credit for a bunch of things that were out of his control. He brags about accomplishments that he shouldn't have done. He made "inslum" for $35. He put a Black Woman on the Supreme Court. He promises to kill a lot more babies.

Speaking of insulin (off-topic from the election):
All of the state workers and retirees (a sizable chunk of Madison's population) are on one insurance plan, serviced by an NGO connected with the state government. This insurance provider decided to stop providing all but one brand of insulin, due to Biden's price control.
And the quasi-government agency neglected to inform their patients of this change.
Pipeson works as a pharmacy tech at Walgreens. Several times a day, it has become his job to tell patients that their usual brand of insulin is no longer covered at the new price. They blame him, of course.

In the early 90s when Bill Clinton was running against George Bush, he made a mid-day appearance in Sam Houston Park at the edge of downtown Houston, across the street from the Texaco building where I worked on the 44th floor. Co-workers and I stood at the windows and watched as police helicopters hovered just outside, close enough for us to wave at the crews. Then governor of Texas, Ann Richards, spoke first, then B.C., late as always, arrived just in time to speak for about 15-20 minutes, to a total crowd that we estimated to be about 150-200 people. The park was surrounded by portable fence, with heavy security, and probably another 150 on-lookers were outside the fence. The next day the morning edition of the Houston Chronicle estimated the crowd size to be roughly 1000-1500 folks.Del wrote: 05 Jul 2024, 14:26 Biden drew about 300 people today in Madison today. I suppose that NPR could have doubled the number of attendees for Biden's event.sweetandsour wrote: 05 Jul 2024, 20:27 a total crowd that we estimated to be about 150-200 people. We'll never know. All we have are the press reports, with no pan or wide-angle shots of the crowd.
=============================
Meanwhile, the talking heads are assessing Biden's last-ditch effort to save his campaign yesterday.
Consensus is that Biden did "okay." This is very bad for Democrats.
Democrats were hoping for something extreme -- maybe Biden collapses and they can force him out the race. Or Biden does something extraordinary that excites voters and looks to turn the polls around. They got neither.
Biden spent 20 minutes with George Snuffy. Biden insists that he is not going to quit the race for anything short of "a sign from God."
Looks like this is going to drag on for a while longer.

An interesting excerpt from Biden's interview with Snuffy.... 15 seconds on X:

Either Biden is lying (because he thinks we're stupid enough to buy it), or else he remembers a debate night that is entirely different from the one that we saw.
It's the old "liar or lunatic" dichotomy.
