Not going to stop, Jim.

We’re home. She should be in rehab, but we have to stay clean (no hospital admissions) for 60 days before Medicare gives her more hospital days. I can’t imagine what the bill for the last 13 days will be. I have people advocating for us financially. The system we are in is a charity-based hospital and is said to have relief programs. I’m just waiting and trusting until the dust settles.

Anyway, earthly wisdom says that in and out of the hospital will be her norm for a while unless her kidneys decide to rise and shine. For now we are home. We have home health visits for a few weeks, but I’m still going to need some help out of pocket. I’m still up for it, but it’s getting much harder physically for me.

Oh, and I’m at the urgent care right now for shingles. Because I didn’t have enough to feel old about.

When I say I’m grateful for y’all, I really mean it. Know that.

Been struggling with Mrs FredS the last few days. A lot of house guests and travels and work issues and our anniversary and it's all boiled over so I was feeling sorry for myself.

Then I remembered Rita and Jim.
