My way of dealing with the problem would have involved kicking the possum. That would have been a mistake.JimVH wrote: 03 Sep 2024, 20:58 Just performed an emergency possum removal from my daughter’s garage. He knocked the garage door sensor off and it wouldn’t close. In the process the thing peed all over the place.

When we lived in SC our house backed up to a wooded wetland. We had an outdoor cat but possums would come on to the back porch and eat his food when he was out carousing. Saw one one night and chased it off the porch but it came back later. Chased it again and threw a brick but missed so I caught up to him halfway across the yard (they're not very fast) and kicked it. Went back inside and found I had stinky goo all over the shoe of my kicking foot. Nasty things.coco wrote: 04 Sep 2024, 16:02My way of dealing with the problem would have involved kicking the possum. Cleaning out a cabinet and found this. It may well be the last cassette we ever purchased (1997).

Well here we go...not that you care
I got a new to me truck the end of April. The first week in June, I was driving home from the cabin and got hit by a hail storm, and the truck was damaged. I contacted the insurance and they set an appointment with the body shop for mid August (first availability). I took them the truck and they had it for 2 days shy of a month. I got it back yesterday. I had to pay the deductible, and the insurance pick up the rest of the tab. I don't think they did many "repairs" I think it was more like remove and replace.
I am just glad to get the truck back.
