You're getting your extra hour of sleep a little early.

I've been sleepy all afternoon, and off kilter more than usual all day. Every fall when we are supposedly receiving an extra hour of sleep, my system gets whacked. I always wake up when I normally do on DST, set the clock back an hour, then don't get back to sleep. Therefore I've been up for an hour longer than usual. And getting up at 4 a.m. yesterday to go duck hunting doesn't help either.

The kitchen sink is backed up.
No relief with the plunger.
So I opened the cleanout outside and she blew like Old Faithful.
A welcome resspite from the election coverage on TV.

I’m in my third line waiting for authorization to get in the next line at a government office. I understand the process and know all the reasons things move slow, but the whole experience would a great deal more tolerable if the others in line with me had taken the time to change out of their pajamas before showing up.

I am handling "On Call" today, so watching court virtually. Two female Juveniles came into court took their coats off and they were both wearing flannel pants and tops (PJs) and slippers...

Exactly, only it's too warm here for layers... or even flannel, for that matter.

Knowing that they have to tolerate people like that day-in and day-out normally helps keep humble and patient with the staff. Though, I had to force some patience with the young lady after a two hour wait only to be told that the certified government document I provided "wasn't certified enough". It seemed like she hated telling me as much as I hated hearing it. I hope I'm that patient when I go back tomorrow.

Raise you hand if you thought, since he's on call, virtually watching court proceedings, Bloodhound was going to fess up to wearing PJ's.

Nope...Business clothes today...I had a subpoena to testify this afternoon...so working in the office and dressed for court...then the defense stipulated to my testimony at the 11th hour and I stayed at the office "On Call" :)
