Tested positive for Covid tonight.
Hey idiot, you should reread the title of this thread. I care.
In other news, we had fondue last night. Our house smelled like stinky cheese. There was a cheese shop in my hometown in the 70's named "The Stinky Cheese Shoppe".

I would love to eat fondue with the FredS family.
I am not as cool as JimVH. Nor or you. Well, unless you ARE JimVH.

There is a fancy dinning spot here called the Melting Pot, it is a fondue place. Every time we drive by it, my wife says, "We should try that place"
I had made reservations for the end of March 2021 as a surprise for her birthday......
I need to make reservations again.
We've been to a Melting Pot restaurant twice. Fun but pricey.

Huge blessing! We were looking at being homeless in July because of apartment lease ending and closing date on house being extended 3 times. Just left our apartment leasing office and I secured a short term furnished apartment in our complex.

They have special *cheap nights and other deals that make it more affordable than going on Saturday night. Last time we went to the Melting Pot we were both reminiscing about the fondue sets our families had when we were kids in the 70's. Ours was avocado, Mrs FredS's was harvest gold. Anyway, I said we should see if we can find one so we can fondue at home. A few months searching thrift stores turned up noting so she bought a new one. A sweet electric deal with precise temperature control.
*I'm fully aware that some of us can't consider $35 per person a cheap meal. Better than $50 or $80 a pop though. We decided long ago that we'd rather go to a 'nice' place once a month or so than go to Applebee's or Chili's every week.
