Somebody had to, right? And now I know the answer if I'm asked, so I have that going for me.

He wasn't even in town when it happened.

Prompted by Val Kilmers recent passing I revisited Tombstone (the movie) last weekend. Internet spies doing what they do, I've since been getting a lot of youtube suggestions about Johnny Ringo. I watched a bootlegged copy of the movie on the same device I watch youtube videos on so the bots stitched it together. There's a podcast I enjoy named The Wild West Extravaganza that has an episode about Ringo. Legend has it that he was killed by Doc Holliday - that's reinforced in the movie - but Doc was in Colorado, perhaps even in jail at the time. Ringo likely ate his own bullet.

That's what I did, but instead of Tombstone, I found myself awake in the middle of the night watching "The Ghost & The Darkness"
