Absolutely useless facts about you nobody cares about
I'm teaching a friend how to smoke a pipe tomorrow morning. I'm also working on his motorcycle.

There were two teenage kids (brothers), in a Sunday School class I taught when we lived in Charleston SC. When they told me their dad was a radar engineer for submarines, I asked if they meant sonar, and they replied, "same difference".

I was standing at the road tonight, waiting to cross over to my mailbox. I saw a lightning bug get hit by a car. Glowing bits fell all over the road.

Cool. We drove through a small swarm recently a few nights ago, and the glow lights scattered on the windshield was neat and a little eerie at the same time.joegoat wrote: 17 Jun 2022, 21:12 I was standing at the road tonight, waiting to cross over to my mailbox. I've hit lots on a motorcycle. Kinda cool walking to my door in the dark, glowing. I've also smacked a Luna Moth on a motorcycle. Man was that a mess!sweetandsour wrote: 17 Jun 2022, 21:32Cool. Windshields and full-face helmets are necessary for night riding. Or else risk getting hit by a .45 cal June bug.joegoat wrote: 17 Jun 2022, 21:38I've hit lots on a motorcycle. I hit a cicada at 70 mph wearing a T shirt. Ouch! I rarely went out without a leather jacket. For some reason, that day I left it at home.Del wrote: 18 Jun 2022, 12:58Windshields and full-face helmets are necessary for night riding.
