I got the starboard bumper tube assembly off the Morgan's subframe this afternoon.
This is no small feat considering that the dermatologist removed a quarter-sized piece of skin covering one of my knuckles.
Tomorrow I'll tackle the port assembly.

Of course the wrench slipped and I gouged the scab clean off my knuckle.
I ended upcutting the bulk of the bumper tube assembly off with a metal blade in a jigsaw.
Two more bolts and the thing will finally be off the subframe.

At long last, the bumper tube assemblies are off the Morgan It took two Whitworth sockets (shallow and deep) with assorted extensions, a small crescent, a Whitworth open end, a hacksaw and five blades, two Vise Grips, a Farrier's 2.5# rounding hammer and fuller punch to remove those unsavory scallions, but it's done!
