Election Thread II: Kamala vs. Trump

Except that Trump never, ever said that the Charlottesville Nazis had any good points or were fine people. He didn't cause the mob or the violence in any way. All Trump did was make some unscripted remarks after the violence that the media twisted against him.

The Hamas Nazi protesters are 100% Joe Biden's own fault.
1) Biden lifted the Trump sanctions against Iran and gave Iran more billions in cash.
2) Iran funded and equipped all of their terror proxies, including Hamas.
3) Hamas attacked and murdered 1200 Israeli civilians, raped many more, and took hostages.
4) Israel resolved to end Hamas forever.
5) Biden throttled Israel, prolonging this conflict for months.
6) The Obama-era radicals (Occupy, Antifa, BLM, etc.... the Democrats' new version of the old KKK) have taken up Palestine as their latest cause du jour.

Now thousands are dead and Gaza is in ruins because of Biden's decision to take the muzzle off of Iran. I want to hear a reporter ask Kamala some hard questions about her plans to resolve this. Trump has pledged to give Israel everything they need to finish Hamas and defend themselves against further attacks by Hezbollah, etc.

It made me think it was Biden's own personal version of Charlottesville.
You have company.

Alan Dershowitz published an article in Wall Street Journal. It's behind a firewall, but the title says it all
Biden Sees a Very Fine ‘Point’ on ‘Both Sides’
The president shows more sympathy for antisemites than Donald Trump did after Charlottesville.

Republicans have assembled a website with a number of Kamala's policy proposals from 4 years ago, plus actions she took as CA Attorney General, CA Senator, and VP under Biden (especially when she cast a crucial tie-breaking vote).

A little something to fill the gap until Kamala posts some current policy positions on her own website.

Lots of links to news articles, providing transparency so as to avoid being entirely partisan spin and hyperbole.

The gaslighting rhetoric from the DNC is strong and infuriating. It wouldn't even be fun to discuss it here.

But there are a few fun moments and clips to share. On Night One, the show was running very late, so DNC started cutting some of the events. Even so, Prime Time Biden didn't start speaking until 11:30 pm Eastern.

One of the bits that they cut was singer James Taylor. They cut him to make time for Biden Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo.
So on Night Two, James Taylor was invited to sing a bit for the opening of Stephen Colbert's show (he's doing live from the Convention).

Here is James Taylor's clip on X:

Meanwhile.... Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo did an interview last night. She was asked about the recent Bureau of Labor Statistics report, in which "new jobs" reported over the last year was adjusted downward by a whopping 818,000 jobs. Job growth had been over-stated by 40%. I read elsewhere that there has not been an error correction of this magnitude in over 50 years.

Here's a story on the jobs report:

Here is Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on X, being asked about it live at the DNC. Hilarious fail:

My overall impression is that these diversity hires are not serious people who care about doing their jobs. Sam Brinton and Rachel Levine, the former lady Secret Service director, Biden declaring he will nominate "a Black woman" for Supreme Court, press sec Karine Jeanne-Pierre, even Kamala herself. All about image and representation.... no thoughts about actual work to be done.

CNN guy Scott Jennings, live at DNC, complaining that last night's speeches offered no policies or substance that could usefully inform voters.

Well, it's over. All the fuzzy platitudes about "good vibes" and "joy," with vague promises to "help the middle class," etc.

All fluff, no substance. We didn't learn anything about actual policies or strategic legislation that Democrats might bring forth. Nothing solid about border or immigration. Nothing regarding Ukraine or Gaza, other than "We support Peace" and "Two-State Solution" -- same as they have said for decades, with no plans to accomplish.

Kamala did make one solid promise: She will boldly allow and fund abortions up to (and after) birth, if Congress passes any such law. And for some reason, DNC cameras were told to find a baby in the crowd somewhere to flash on the Big Screen when she said so.

Matt Walsh (of Daily Wire) trolled the DNC by visiting in person wearing his "identity ally" costume (wire rim glasses, man-bun wig, "White Guys for Harris" t-shirt).

I believe this isn't behind a paywall. The article and clips are hilarious.

He even photo-bombed CNN as they were interviewing Chuck Schumer on live TV.

Taylor Lorenz Plays Mini Golf With Tampons At ‘Hotties For Harris’ DNC Party

Also: She shows us the "Plan B" abortifacient pill that she got as a party favor from a gumball machine at the DNC convention.

These elite Democrats are not serious people. And they leave themselves no room for ever calling anyone else "weird."
