I've got 6 Celebrity Plus tomato plants in, and 6 jalapeno plants. I finally received the LSU Gulf Coast tomato seeds and planted 5 in small cups on Monday, and they're sitting inside on a window sill. Hopefully I did it right, I've never planted tomato seeds before.

And this evening, with an almost full moon rising in the east while the sun was setting in the west, I planted 3 20-ft rows of sweet corn.

I planted a Meyer lemon tree and four chili pepper plants today.

That’s as gardener as I get.

It's been raining cats and dogs and supposed to keep raining for the rest of the week, so the beds are a mess right now.
I need to pick up tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers so I'll be ready when everything dries out.

I've got some burpless cucumber plants, and some marigolds and a couple of other pollinators I don't know the name of. Also a small bag of red onions that I need to find a home for somewhere.

The smaller tomatoes (Super Sweet 100s, Midnight Snacks, San Marzano and Roma) will go in buckets this year, leaving a bit more space in the raised beds for larger plant varieties (Beefsteak, Goliath, Mortgage Lifter, Consolute Genovese)

I lost the San Marzano and the Midnight Snack----some sort of fungus made the all the leaves curl up and turn black.

Was hoping to do a garden this year but got chickens instead. Too many other projects on my honey-do list for this Spring. Shooting for next year but I sure would like to have a garden. Maybe I'll do something super small this year. I'll bet I can figure something out even if it's a few plants in pots.

This evening at around 7:30, under cloudy skies, with owls hooting and Lizzy barking at a rabbit behind the fence, I planted 6 burpless cucumber plants. I wasn't sure whether to post this here, or in the Absolutely Useless Information thread.
