My Jayhawks kinda stunk it up this year. From preseason #1 to unranked by the end of the season. I run a bracket named "Pick the Hawks or Else" for my extended family, and I (correctly) didn't pick them to even make it out of the first round. I'm sitting in first place after the first round.

A guy from Kansas, on another forum, said, "No surprise on Kansas going out. They have stunk all year. Mizzou went out too. There had been a chance for them to meet up. Disappointing finish for both."

My alma mater and local college, Lamar, played McNeese close in their final meeting of the regular season, with tempers flaring a bit. Then they ended up meeting in the Southland Tourney final, and Lamar fell flat. I'm happy to see McNeese win one and advance, but this is their coach's last season before going to NC State, I believe, next season. I'm watching the games here and there but missed out on getting in a bracket this time.
