Well, I haven't ordered tobacco for a decade or more now. I pick up a few ounces when I'm in nearby a B&M, but I'd like to stock up on some of my regular smokes. Looking for recommendations for something new to try.
No tins! Must be bulk. I have a bad habit of buying tins and never opening them. It'll make me rich someday, but until then no more tins!
I currently find myself going back to:
PS luxury navy Flake
Newminster Round Slices
C&D Billy Bud
C&D Pegasus
Newminster Navy Flake
C&D pirate kake
I like body and flavor. Nicotine doesn't bother me.

Try the "new" Prince Albert. Not the so-called match blends, but a pouch of PA. It's not bulk per se, but it may as well be. Also try Granger, available in bulk at 4Noggins, and also their Prairie Wind, a bulk that is listed as a VaPer, but it smokes much better than a typical VaPer.
The 4Noggins bulk blend called "Bread Loaf" is interesting as well.
If you like grape tobacco, and if you can locate it, get a tin of C&D Visions of Celephais. If you don't like grape, then open the tin, dump the tobacco in a jar and wait a few months, and the grape will be gone, and you'll have raisin instead, or some say it's fig like a Fig Newton.
Here are some reviews for the C&D VoC. Ignore the guys that talk about ghosting, there ain't no ghosting. https://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/12 ... -celepha-s

Ever try dark birdseye? An all-time favorite of mine.

I forgot about that one.
The Burley Flakes are good too. But when I just want everything stout and flavorful I go with Black Irish. Of course it's a rope, however, and so it requires some effort. But it's a great one to smoke a while then set it down and pick up later when you're enjoying a cold ale or stout of some sort.

Don't know if you've checked lately, but G&H doesn't exist right now. Everything is out of stock. I will keep this in mind though. I've smoked a few G&H blends and I'd like to deliver deeper into their offerings.sweetandsour wrote: 09 Aug 2022, 11:28Yes G&H.joegoat wrote: 09 Aug 2022, 08:13G&H?sweetandsour wrote: 08 Aug 2022, 12:56

I would like to tell you the following tobaccos stink and should not be smoked:
1.) Davidoff Flake Medallions
2.) Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake
3.) Savinelli Doblone d'Oro (particularly awful)
4.) GH Dark Birdseye
5.) GH Rum Flake.
As long as you avoid these five tobaccos, you'll be happy.
