We are traveling to Ft. Worth in a couple of weeks. Its graduation time for our oldest granddaughter. We will be having some extra time, on Sat and the whole day on Sunday. We had to book some extra time, to get the deals on the plane tickets.
We have been to the stockyards, and the zoo on a previous visit. We were thinking of going to Waco or...do those of you who know the area have any favorite activities in or around the area?
Thanks

The gun room at the FW Cabela's used to be pretty good. Also, it's been a while since I visited the area, but there were good restaurants in the Turtle Creek area at one time. If you've visited the stockyards area already then you may have eaten at Lonesome Dove BBQ, and perhaps sampled the duck, rabbit, rattlesnake sausage, or perhaps their pork belly. https://lonesomedovefortworth.com/menus/dinner/

Black's BBQ is opening a new location in Waco in a couple of days. Planning on heading up there in a couple of weeks.

Also, as mentioned above the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame/Museum and the Dr. Pepper Museum are well worth visiting. Also the park downtown that includes statues of cattle drives and the bridge. Baylor campus is beautiful and there is an awesome ice cream store there at the campus, Heritage Creamery.
I know Jim secretly likes to visit the Silos in Waco.

The Silos are why my wife wanted to go to Waco...Last night I mentioned that the Texas Ranger Museum was also in Waco...her response was, "That's nice"...
