Baseball Gloves

Post about everything from carrying a handkerchief to manly skills (sharpening a pocket knife, etc), to product reviews of items that may have slipped inder our radar (ie Grandpa's Pine Tar soap). No threads on anything 'new' unless it hearkens to old-fashioned sensibilities and ideals.

The major sports manufacturers all have vegan gloves out now. Nothing like the smell of plastic to remind you of baseball.
Vegan baseball gloves?

The gloves my dad and grandfather played catch with.

There's absolutely nothing vegan about them or the dairy farm they spent their lives on.

I still have my old Rawlings from when I was a kid. I should probably oil it up while I’m thinking about it :geek:

When I started little league, mom didn't have money for a mit, so my uncle gave me his it looks just like the one SlowToke posted. I used it for my entire little league career, wore a hole thru the old leather and the sawdust filling started to escape...it got a duct tape patch and it is in a box in the basement.
