His answer perfectly encapsulates how voters look at the whole debate.Hovannes wrote: 06 Jul 2024, 18:51Or he's in denial.Del wrote: 06 Jul 2024, 10:45 An interesting excerpt from Biden's interview with Snuffy.... 15 seconds on X:

Either Biden is lying (because he thinks we're stupid enough to buy it), or else he remembers a debate night that is entirely different from the one that we saw.
It's the old "liar or lunatic" dichotomy.
Up to his neck in crocodiles in the Nile.
Camp 1. Biden is sharp but he was distracted by the meany Trump who threw him off on purpose. This would have worked for half the voters a while ago, but anyone who actually watched the thing live knows it's not true. Perhaps 20% of dem voters and will intentionally forget the debate and go along with the lie because Joe's their guy. They should ask themselves, if a fella standing on the other side of the stage, saying critical or negative things about him rattles him so much he freezes, what will happen when he's confronted by real bad guys from Russia or Iran?
Camp 2. Trump wasn't 'yelling' at anyone. In fact, both guys clearly hate one another, but were pretty civil. Period. End of story. Biden is lying about what happened and is not a credible candidate. Sure, both guys told a heap of lies during the debate, but he's lying about the debate, not inflating his own record or misspeaking about his plans for the future. The only heated moment I recall was when Biden parroted what is probably a false report that Trump once said only 'losers' found themselves in military service, and that his own son died because of his military service. It was fake rage but Joe's a politician and losing a son "in the war" is simply too golden for him not to trot out. Trump and Biden are both politicians doing what politicians do - - - Biden's just doing it very badly and it's not because he had a cold.
